Assault/Family Violence-Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Pino Street after a female victim reported she had been physically assaulted by her husband, later identified as thirty year old David Angel Olivares. The victim displayed major bruising and swelling to the left side of her face and reported Olivares struck her several times with a closed fist. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and and the victim was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment. Olivares was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Deceased Person-Units responded to a residence on Thompson Road shortly before midnight after a male subject reported finding his mother motionless inside a bathroom. EMS crews arrived at the scene and reported the sixty-six year old female subject was deceased. A formal report has been filed.
