Maverick County Daily Reports-November 06, 2020

 Public Intoxication/Disorderly Conduct-A county unit responded to the Deer Run sector of Maverick County shortly after 7:00 AM this morning  after receiving reports of a reckless driver in the area. A vehicle matching the description was later observed and contact was made with the driver, nineteen year old Mario Barrientos Jr., who displayed signs of intoxication. In the midst of the stop, a female subject later identified as nineteen year old Aleyaa Renaee Rivera arrived at the location and began assaulting a female passenger  in the vehicle. Ms. Rivera was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and Barrientos was taken into custody on public intoxication charges. Both subjects were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Burglary of Building-Deputies responded to the 900 block of Barranca Drive after a resident reported unknown subject(s) had entered his shed and took several items without his consent. The complainant further stated that the estimated value of the items stolen was approximately $13,695.00. A formal report was filed. 

Public Intoxication/Failure to Identify-Deputies this evening arrested a forty-five year old male subject after responding to calls of a suspicious vehicle in the Borjon Road area.  Contact was made with the driver of a Ford F-150 in the area who refused to provide any information and was being uncompliant. The subject, later identified as forty-five year old Juan Manuel Garcia, displayed bloodshot eyes, unstable movements, and emitted a strong alcoholic odor from his person. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
