Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Progresso and Cedro in the Loma Bonita sector this morning in regards to a single motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, contact was made with the driver of a Toyota Rav4 who reported she was travelling westbound on Progresso Street when she lost control on the curve and struck a steel fence. The owner of the fence was contacted and estimated the property damage at approximately 500.00 dollars. The driver refused medical attention at the time of this report and the vehicle was towed from the location after suffering extensive damages to its undercarriage.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to a gas station on FM 1021 this afternoon after a male subject sustained serious injuries to his right leg when his vehicle shifted gears while his feet were outside of the vehicle, causing a tire to run over the left. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and the subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center before being transported via Air Evac to a San Antonio area hospital.
Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Twenty-seven year old Alfredo Escobedo and eighteen year old Arambula Perez were taken into custody this evening after a traffic stop on the 3100 block of FM 1021 yielded the discovery of a clear plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance in the center console. Upon contact with the subjects, an unknown strong odor was emitting from the vehicle and the pair displayed bloodshot eyes and a slurred speech. Content to search was given and the two would later admit to having consumed the products prior to the stop. The substance would test positive for approximately .115 oz of marijuana and the subjects were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
