Possession of a Controlled Substance/Possession of Marijuana-A deputy patrolling US Highway 277 north this morning made contact with a male subject seen stumbling as he crossed the roadway. The subject later identified as twenty-two year old Juan Arturo Curi was given a pat down check, where the deputy found a crystal like substance resembling methamphetamine and green leafy substance in his possession. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of a Dangerous Drug/Public Intoxication-A unit patrolling Calle Escondido this afternoon was flagged down by a male subject seeking a ride to his home. Upon contact, the deputy observed the subject displayed bloodshot eyes and unstable movements. A pat down search was conducted on the subject, yielding the discovery of a baggy containing a green leafy substance. The subject would later admit to having smoke synthetic marijuana minutes prior to the deputy's arrival. He was then taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
