Maverick County Daily Reports-November 23, 2019

Motor Vehicle Accident/Driving While Intoxicated-Units responded to a possible motor vehicle accident on FM 2030 minutes after 6 AM this morning. Upon arrival, deputies observed a 2015 Camaro in the brush area against a fence line and a male subject asleep behind the wheel of the vehicle. The subject, twenty-four year old Rodolfo Jimenez, who displayed a slurred speech and had a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center on DWI charges after performing poorly on field sobriety tests.


Public Intoxication-Deputies met with United States Border Patrol agents who conducted a traffic stop on Rosita Valley Road this morning after a vehicle was observed driving recklessly and endangering other drivers. The occupants of the vehicle, Ronaldo Villarreal, Victor de Hoyos, and Omar Ramos had a strong alcoholic odor emitting from their person and admitted to having consumed alcohol prior to being detained. The were placed under arrest on public intoxication charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
