Maverick County Daily Reports-September 08, 2019

Burglary of Vehicle-A unit responded to the 100 block of Round Rock Street this morning after a resident reported finding his vehicle had been ransacked and several items had been taken without his consent.  A formal report was filed.

Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 1700 block of Ginebra reported his neighbor had witnessed an unknown subject enter his vehicle without consent, taking a portable speaker from the center console. The complainant then reported the subject fled the area on foot. A search of the area was conducted to no avail.

Motor Vehicle Accident/Hit and Run-A deputy responded to Lucky Eagle Road this evening whereupon arrival, made contact with the driver of a 2012 Ford Fusion who reported she had been involved in a motor vehicle accident with a white Jeep. The driver of the Jeep, travelling northbound on Tierra Soberana turned into the Lucky Eagle Casino parking lot and struck the Fusion, who was exiting the parking lot. The Jeep fled the scene in an unknown direction and the driver of Ford refused medical attention at the scene.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to FM1021 this evening, where a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado was involved in a single motor vehicle accident. Contact was made with the driver, who reported he had been travelling eastbound when he veered left, causing the vehicle to rollover into the brush area. The driver would later be taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
