Maverick County Daily Reports-January 17, 2019

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz., Possession of a Controlled Substance-Units responded to a home on the 100 block of Kidd Circle early this morning after fielding a call reporting an aggressive male subject at the location. Contact was made with the subject, nineteen-year-old Humberto Jimenez, Jr., who emitted a strong marijuana odor from his person. Upon emptying his pockets, deputies found Mr. Jimenez in possession of a clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance with marijuana characteristics and four white tablets later identified as Alprazolam(Xanax). Mr. Jimenez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. The narcotics were packaged as evidence and placed in the evidence locker at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office.

Theft-A resident on Memo Robinson Road reported unknown subject(s) entered her property without consent and took a torch kit and propane gas tank. A formal report was filed.

Robbery-A complainant on Hewitt Circle reported a known male subject has physically assaulted him, causing bodily injury. The complainant further reported the subject took his cell phone and money from his front pockets. He would refused medical attention at the time of the report.
