Criminal Mischief-Deputies responded to the 800 block of Escondido, where a resident reported unknown subjects had damaged the glass front door to his residence and the rear window to his white Chevrolet Impala. A formal report was taken.
Public Intoxication-A resident on the 3100 block of Leonel Street reported observing a female subject on her property. Contact was made with twenty-three-year-old Alexandra Aguilar, who was found in a highly intoxicated state. She was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Driving While Intoxicated/Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-Deputies took thirty-eight-year-old Sammy Jay Jacinto into custody this morning after the 2010 Toyota Camry he was driving had struck two property fence lines. Upon contact, deputies observed a slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and an unstable balance. Mr. Jacinto admitted to having consumed alcohol and an investigation at the scene revealed he had been traveling northbound on Fawn Drive when he fell asleep behind the wheel and veered off the roadway. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident Hit and Run-A resident on the 1900 block of Sueno Circle reported he had exited his residence to find an unknown vehicle had struck his stationary Dodge Durango from behind and left the scene of the accident. An investigation at the locale yielded the discovery of a licence plate located on the ground near the scene of the accident. Contact was made with the mother of the possible driver who reported he son never returned home. Information was retrieved and a report was filed.
