Duty on Striking Structure, Fixture, or Highway Landscaping-Deputies this morning responded to Wagon Wheel Road after receving a call in reference to male subject behind the wheel of a maroon vehicle in possible pain. Deputies later observed a vehicle matching the description on Calle Alegre, where a male subject was seen attempting to change a tire. Contact was made with the subject, identified as Jonathon Flood, who stated he had a blowout and was changing his tire. Upon further investigation, it was revealed Mr. Flood had struck a property fence line on Wagon Wheel Road before leaving the scene of the accident, leaving the front bumper to his 2014 Nissan Sentra behind. Mr. Flood refused medical services at the time of this report and was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
