Maverick County Daily Reports-September 14, 2018

Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle-A complainant on Rosita Valley Road reported a known female subject attempted to intentionally strike her vehicle.

Violation of Court Order-A deputy patroling Eidson Road early this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche for a minor infraction. Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle, two male subjects, and a female subject. A check revealed the driver, Jonathan Flood had a protective order issued against the female passenger. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center. His second passenger, Christian Ray Barrett had an active warrant with the Eagle Pass Police Department. EPPD officers would take Mr. Barrett into custody.

Theft-A complainant met with deputies to report she had purchased a vehicle from a seller who refused to release the vehicle to her after she paid the full amount plus fees. She has attempted to have the monies returned to her but the seller has also refused. The complainant further stated she won a civil court judgment against the seller but he has refused to act on it. The criminal investigations division was contacted on the matter.
