Information Report-Units responding to a possible brush fire on Wipff Road early this morning encountered an abandoned Ford F-350 fully engulfed in flames near the canal area. Fire crews were at the location to safely extinguish the fire and a fire investigator has since taken over.
Burglary of Building-A deputy patrolling the Pueblo Nuevo area of Maverick County this morning observed the doors to the Pct. 2 County offices open during closed office hours. Further investigation revealed unknown subject(s) had forcefully entered the building and took several items without consent. This case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division.
Wanted Person-A deputy arrested Leonardo Escobedo at the international port of entry after he was detained when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed as active and Mr. Escobedo was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
