Assault/Family Violence-A unit responded to the 300 block of Lariat early this morning after a female subject who dialed 911 reported she had been assaulted by her husband and had managed to escape. Deputies arrived to find the male subject had left the location, however, was found a short time later lying in an empty lot nearby. The male subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Suicide-Units responded to the Chula Vista subdivision of Maverick County early this morning, where a reporting person told deputies she had arrived home to find her husband had committed suicide. An EMS crew was summoned to the scene to transport the male subject to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by a Justice of the Peace.
Wanted Person-Rocio Espinoza was arrested at the international port of entry #2 this evening after initially being detained by agents at the port when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of Bexar County was confirmed and Ms. Espinoza was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
