Motor Vehicle Accident involving Pedestrian-Units responded to FM1021 near Crane Street this afternoon after a 2013 Kia Rio had struck a pedestrian. Contact was made with the operator of the Kia, who reported the vehicle had been traveling westbound on FM1021 when a male subject ran onto the street. EMS crews arrived at the scene to transfer the subject to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER before he was transported to San Antonio for further medical treatment.
