Motor Vehicle Accident/Driving While Intoxicated/Possession of a Dangerous Drug/Possession of a Controlled Substance-Deputies on patrol this morning responded to a motor vehicle accident by Callejon Teran, whereupon arrival found the driver of a 1981 Chevrolet Camaro had struck a large pile of dirt in an empty lot.EMS crews were at the scene to awaken the driver, Maria de Jesus Pedraza, who was found unconscious. Ms. Pedraza would refuse further medical attention, however, she was arrested on DWI charges. She was also charged with possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a controlled substance. Ms. Pedraza was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center and her vehicle was towed by a local wrecker service.
Information Report-Deputies responded to a residence on Juanita Street after receiving reports of a possible stabbing. Contact was made with the subject upon arrival, who stated he had accidentally stabbed himself as he fell to the ground. The subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to San Antonio, Texas for further treatment.
