Wanted Person-Leonardo Talamantes was arrested at the international port of entry #2 this morning after a check revealed a warrant for his arrest. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Deputies were dispatched to the United States Border Patrol checkpoint on US Highway 57 this morning after agents had detained a female subject in an intoxicated state. Priscilla Lopez Pena was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-City of Eagle Pass Police made contact with a deputy this morning after they had detained a male subject with an active warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant for the subject, identified as David Leija, was confirmed and he was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Aggravated Assault-Units were dispatched to Rivera Street after a male subject had reportedly been shot. Contact was made with the subject upon arrival, who had suffered a gunshot wound to his left. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and the subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further treatment. No other information was provided.
