Possession of a Dangerous Drug-Deputies early this morning made contact with a male subject found walking by the 1600 block of Encuentro. The subject, Samuel Arredondo, was found to be in possession of two clear baggies containing a known narcotic. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-A deputy patrolling FM 1021 this morning conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor violation. Contact was made with occupants, who consented to a search. A pat-down search later conducted on the passenger found her to be in possession of a clear plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance and a pipe. The female, identified as Ashley Esparza, was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Patrol agents at the checkpoint on US Highway 57 made contact with deputies this evening when they had detained a male subject found to be in possession of a plastic baggie containing marijuana. Armando Manuel Ramos was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
DWI-A deputy patrolling Del Rio Blvd. this afternoon was flagged down by two subjects who reported being struck from behind by a vehicle tailgating them. The vehicle would later be identified on Barrera Street, where its driver displayed signs of intoxication. Jesus Olivares, identified as the driver, would consent to a field sobriety test in which he would perform poorly. He was arrested on DWI charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Aisha Yvette Garcia was arrested this afternoon after a check revealed an active warrant out of Harris County on theft charges. The warrant was confirmed and Ms. Garcia was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Jesus Fidencio Rodriguez was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #2 after he was initially detained by agents at the port when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed as active and Mr. Rodriguez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
