Maverick County Daily Reports-January 22, 2018

Possession of Dangerous Drugs-Deputies patrolling Cenizo Heights conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Mazda 306 for a minor infraction this morning. Contact was made with the Nathan Valdez, the driver, who gave consent to search the vehicle, which yielded in the discovery of Alprazalam and Tramadol by the dashboard. Mr. Valdez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Jorge Alberto Cazarez was placed under arrest this morning after a background check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A unit responded to the international port of entry one after CBP agents at the port detained a female subject whose background check revealed an active warrant. The warrant for Ashlee Gail Gober was confirmed and Ms. Gober was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant reported unknown subject(s) had abused a company credit card which was to be used solely for company purchases. A report was filed.

Disorderly Conduct-Deputies responded to a disturbance in progress on Frente Street this afternoon, whereupon arrival, made contact with the complainant who reported his son was acting in a disorderly manner. After further investigation, Javier Hernandez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-A County unit was dispatched to the international port of entry #2 this evening after agents at the port detained a female subject who was found in possession of green leafy substance. Upon arrival, a test of the substance was conducted, which tested positive for approximately 2.4 grams of marijuana. Adriana Krystal Garcia, the subject in question, was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Sergio Contreras was taken into custody at the international port of entry #2 this evening when a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-Deputies made contact with United States Border Patrol agents this evening after they encountered a male subject found in an intoxicated state. Contact was made Antonio De La Cruz, who displayed bloodshot eyes, unstable balance, and an alcoholic odor emitting from his person. For his safety and the safety of others, he was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
