Maverick County Daily Reports-October 06, 2017

Damage to Property-Units responded to the intersection of Wagon Wheel Road and High Noon Street in reference to a downed pole and wires. Deputies assessed the scene upon arrival and it was determined an unknown vehicle had struck the pole and left the scene.

Resisting Arrest-Miguel Rodriguez, Jr. was arrested this afternoon after refusing to listen to officer requests in which a brief struggle ensued. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles detention Center for processing.

Driving with an Invalid License/Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz-A traffic stop on a GMC Canyon this evening revealed the driver of the vehicle, Alfredo Barragon, to be operating without a valid license. A pat down check conducted on the passenger, identified as Benito Alvarez, III, found him to be in possession of marijuana, which was concealed in his groin area. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
