Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international port of entry #1 this morning after CBP agents detained a male subject whose background check revealed an active warrant. The warrant for Chase Remington Burks out of the San Agustine Sheriff's Office was confirmed and Mr. Burks was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Ruben Castillo Urrabazo was arrested at the United States Border Patrol checkpoint after a check revealed an active warrant out of Uvalde, Texas. Mr. Urrabazo was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Deceased Person-Units responded to the Comanche Ranch this afternoon after the apparent remains of a human body were found on the property. Upon arrival at the ranch, deputies were led to a brush area where a skull and bones were found. Justice of the Peace Madera pronounced the subject deceased at 3:27 PM and the remains were transported by a local funeral home.
