Maverick County Daily Reports-October 12, 2017

Credit Card Abuse-A complainant reported he believes someone has been using his debit card without consent after being informed by the bank he had an outstanding balance of $600.00.

Wanted Person-Rolando Chapa was placed under arrest this morning after a traffic stop revealed he has an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Chapa was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft/Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the Casino Grocery on FM2030 this evening, where a cashier reported an unknown male subject had taken two 18 packs of beer without paying for them. The subject, however, fled the scene prior to a deputy's arrival in a Ford F-150. The pickup was eventually located after a search of the area was conducted with the assistance of Tribal Police. The subject, Pedro Torres, was taken into custody and was later discovered to have an outstanding warrant out of Kinney County. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
