Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle/Recovered Stolen Vehicle-Deputies responded to the 100 block of Lariat, where a male subject reported unknown subject(s) had taken his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado from the location without consent. The subject later contacted the Sheriff's Department to report he had located the vehicle in an open field off of Wild Wood Road. The vehicle was heavily vandalized and was transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for further investigation.
Public Intoxication-Deputies on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Ford this evening and discovered its driver to be in an intoxicated state. Steven Flores was found with a gold spray on his clothing, a slurred speech, and an unknown alcoholic odor emitting from his person. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Manuel Leyva, Jr. was arrested this evening after a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
