Maverick County Daily Reports-August 16, 2017

Resisting Arrest/Public Intoxication-Deputies on patrol made contact with a suspicious male subject found walking along Becos Street this morning, Upon contact, the subject, identified as Juan Manuel Hernandez, showed signs of intoxication and become uncompliant to Deputy commands. Mr. Hernandez was eventually taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units made their way to Highway 277 North this morning, where a tractor trailer struck livestock that made its way onto the roadway, causing the livestock to collide into oncoming traffic. A third vehicle, struck the remains of the livestock, causing further damages to another vehicle. The Texas Department of Public Safety arrived at the scene and has since taken over the investigation.

Burglary of Building-A complainant on Eidson Road reported unknown actors had unlawfully entered his shop and took two hand guns and several tools without consent.

Assault-A complainant on the 600 block of Guisseppi reported a known subject had arrived at his residence and physically assaulted him.
