Maverick County Daily Reports-August 06, 2017

Public Intoxication-Deputies on patrol made contact with a male subject, later identified as Rogelio Marmolejo, after he  found walking with unstable movements on FM1021 early this morning. Mr. Marmolejo displayed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody. He would then be transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-Miguel Angel Rodriguez was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #2 this morning after being detained when he was found in an intoxicated state. Mr. Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detentuon Center for processing.

Driving While Intoxicated-Deputies on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Mustang for a minor traffic infraction off of FM1021 this morning. Roxana Lara, the driver of the vehicle, displayed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody. She was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.

Assault/Family Violence-Units responded to the 200 block of De Soto this morning, where contact was made with a female complainant who reported being physically assaulted by her boyfriend. Forty-three year old Gerardo Herrera was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Driving While Intoxicated-Deputies arrested twenty-one year old Erik Martinez this morning after a traffic stop revealed him to be in an intoxicated state. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-Units were dispatched to the intersection of Calle Teresa and Las Brisas early this morning in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with a subject identified as Ashley Lynette Mendoza, who displayed signs of intoxication. Ms. Mendoza was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Possession of a Dangerous Drug-Deputies on patrol this afternoon conducted a traffic stop on a 2009 Ford Focus on a minor traffic infraction. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Raul Velez, who was given a pat down and discovered to be in possession of a pill container containing Tramadol and Clonazepam. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
