Maverick County Daily Reports-April 3, 2017

Assault-A complainant reported that she was inside of a vehicle when a known female had pulled her out of the vehicle and began to strike her several times for unknown reasons.

Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Eleazar Guadalupe Gamez at the international port of entry #2 this afternoon after he was detained when a background check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of Bexar County was confirmed and Mr. Gamez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Criminal Mischief-A resident on Arce Lane reported unknown subject(s) had broken the front window to her residence.

Criminal Mischief-A County unit responded to the Stripes convenience store parking lot, where a complainant stated a known male juvenile had broken the rear window to her Volkswagen Jetter with a rock for unknown reasons.

Reckless Driving-A deputy patrolling Rosita Valley Road this evening observed a black Cadillac CTS swerving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Lorenzo Jaime Melchor, was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
