DWI/Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-County units responded to Lucky Eagle Road, where the driver of a Dodge Dakota had lost control of his vehicle and struck a TxDot sign and a fence, causing damages to the front bumper. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Mario Martinez, who was highly intoxicated. Mr. Martinez refused medical attention before being taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 1700 block of Jalisco reported unknown subject(s) entered his vehicle and took an iPod nano and a pair of women's sunglasses without consent.
Public Intoxication/Motor Vehicle Accident-A county unit responded to FM 1590 this evening after a vehicle fell into an irrigation ditch. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a female subject walking inside the ditch, who was determined to be intoxicated. Maria Alvarado was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. No visual damages were caused to the concrete ditch.
Wanted Person-Rolando Rodriguez was placed under arrest after initially being detained by City Police Officers when a check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
