Possession of a Controlled Substance/Wanted Person-A unit patrolling Eidson Road conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Lincoln Navigator this morning on a traffic infraction. Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle, which revealed an active warrant for a female subject, identified as Rocio Lizbeth Ibarra. Ms. Ibarra was also found to be in possession of a clear plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance that would later test positive for cocaine. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Located Stolen Vehicle-Deputies responded to a local wrecker service, where a 2000 Nissan had come back as reported stolen at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office. The vehicle was removed from the system and the case is under investigation.
