A Public Service Announcement from the City of Eagle Pass

 Public Service Announcement
The City of Eagle Pass Public Works Department will begin the overlay of Quarry Street from Colorado Street to Medina Street on January 23, 2017. During the process, no through traffic will be allowed. Barricades will be set up during the overlay to control traffic flow.

There will be heavy equipment, dust, and noise in and around the construction area. We recommend that cars not drive over the overlay zone, unless necessary, and if so, to drive slowly. We ask for your cooperation in obeying all traffic signs, including flagmen assigned to the area. No parking will be allowed on the right of way during the overlay. If vehicles remain on the right of way, wrecker service will be utilized at the owner's expense. Sprinklers will not be allowed to be left on overnight and failure to abide will lead to a citation to municipal court.

It is the intention of the Public Works Department to finish the overlay as quickly as possible but there may be unforeseeable delays due to the actual condition of the in-place materials. Cooperation from all residents will also enhance the process.

If you need additional information or have any questions, please call our office at 830-773-9408.
