Maverick County Daily Reports-November 27, 2016

Public Intoxication-A homeowner on the 700 block of Wagon Wheel Road reported two known male subjects had entered her property without consent, attempting to start a physical altercation.  The two fled on foot prior to a deputies arrival at the scene, however, were found walking on Wagon Wheel Road. Upon making contact, deputies detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from each male, slurred speech, and an unstable balance. Manuel Flores and Erick Martinez were placed under arrest at the location and were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. The homeowner refused to file any criminal charges at the time of the report.

Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant on the 100 block of Lizeth reported unknown subjects had gain entry to his 2006 Honda and took items without consent.

Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 2800 block of Siwel Drive reported unknown subject(s) had gained entry into her locked 2007 Ford and took approximately $200.00 without consent.

Wanted Person-Jose Guevara was arrested at the international port of entry #1 this afternoon after a check revealed an active warrant out of Austin Parole. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle accident on US Highway 57, whereupon arrival witnessed a 2007 Dodge Nitro with visible damages to the front tired and driver side door area. The driver told deputies she had been traveling northbound when she lost control the vehicle and struck a chain link fence. The occupants of the vehicle refused any medical attention.
