Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant reported known subject(s) had entered his vehicle and took several items without consent.
Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle/DWI- A deputy was led on a short pursuit this afternoon after the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado failed to stop for a traffic stop at the intersection of FM2030 and FM1021. Juan Carlos Torres was arrested by Chuck Wagon Road and was charged with DWI and evading arrest with previous convictions. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Located Stolen Vehicle-Deputies responded to the United States Border Patrol Checkpoint on US Highway 57 this evening after a vehicle previously reported as stolen as well as its occupants were detained. One occupant was determined to be an undocumented citizen. The vehicle was turned over to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office. This case remains under investigation.
