Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to US Highway 277 by Las Moras Creek early this morning, where the driver of a Toyota Prius was traveling northbound when he struck a deer that had crossed the roadway. The collision caused front end damages to the Prius and the driver refused medical attention at the time of the report.
Possession of Marijuana-Deputies responded to the United States Border Patrol checkpoint on US Highway 57 this morning after agents detained a male subject in possession of marijuana. Upon arrival, Ramiro Galindo told officers he had a marijuana join in the pocket of his pants. Mr. Galindo was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Briana Guadalupe De La Garza was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing after it was revealed she had an active warrant for her arrest.
