Maverick County Daily Reports-August 22, 2016

Information Report-Deputies responded to reports of an explosion in the Quemado, Texas area this morning. Responding officers arrived at the scene and witnessed a tractor trailer on the side of the road and a residence engulfed in flames. Eagle Pass Fire Department crews were summoned to the location. A second vehicle traveling on US Highway 277 was also affected by the incident, causing damages to the vehicle. The occupants of both vehicles were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment. This incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
