Maverick County Daily Reports-July 28, 2016

Burglary of Habitation/Assault-Deputies responded to the 4100 block of Siesta Drive this morning in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant, who had detained the individual in question. Eduardo Guzman was detained when he entered the residence and assaulted one of the complainants for unknown reasons. Mr. Guzman was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Damage to Property/Hit and Run-A resident on Ruela Road reported an unknown vehicle had struck her fence and a portable building before leaving the scene of an accident in an unknown direction.

Deceased Person-A County unit responded to the Cinco Ranch this morning, where Border Patrol agents reported finding a deceased male subject in the river with no identification in his possession.

Hit and Run-Deputies responded to the 200 block of Round Rock, where a complainant reported a known pickup truck had struck his vehicle on the left rear panel and left the scene prior to a unit's arrival.

Burglary of Habitation-A resident on Molina Street reported unknown subject(s) had entered the residence through a rear window and took a guitar without consent.

Aggravated Assault-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to reported she had been assaulted by her sister, who caused serious bodily injury. The case was referred to the Criminal Investigations Department.

Criminal Mischief-A complainant stated unknown subject(s) had shattered the rear window to his rental vehicle, a 2016 Toyota Camry.
