Maverick County Daily Reports-July 26, 2016

Public Intoxication-A deputy on patrol was dispatched to Riverside Acres Road this morning in reference to a possibly intoxicated subject in the area. Upon arrival, contact was made with Juan Javier Rodriguez, who for his safety was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Forty-six year old Jesus Soto was placed under arrest this morning at the international port of entry number after initially being detained when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of Travis County was confirmed and Mr. Soto was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Deputies on patrol this afternoon conducted a traffic stop on Albores Street and discovered the driver to have an active warrant out of Maverick County. Christian Armando Reyes was placed under arrest after the warrant was confirmed and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

No Driver's License/No Seat Belt-A deputy conducting a traffic stop on a 2003 Ford Expedition arrested its driver, identified as Jose Antonio Salazar, for his lack of a driver's license and for not wearing his seat belt. Salazar was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-CBP agents detained a male subject after a secondary inspection yielded a the discovery of a plastic baggie containing marijuana. Jose Fernandez Guerra III was placed under arrest by county deputies and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
