Maverick County Daily Reports-May 20, 2016

Theft-A complainant on the 100 block of Richard Lane reported unknown subject(s) took the tail lights to her Chevrolet Silverado without consent.

Criminal Mischief/Disorderly Conduct-County units responded to the 200 block of Victoriano Street after receiving reports of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with nineteen-year old Alma Valadez and twenty-one year old Esmeralda Miranda, who stated that fight ensued in the midst of a verbal argument between the two. Ms. Valadez stated that she entered her vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet, when Ms. Miranda threw a rock at its back window, causing it to shatter. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. the estimated damages caused to the vehicle were unknown at the time of this report.

Wanted Person-Deputies arrested a male subject identified as Rolando De Leon at the international Port of Entry #1 this afternoon when a background check on De Leon revealed an active warrant out of Alamosa County. The outstanding warrant was confired and De Leon was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A unit was dispatched to the international Port of Entry #1 once again, where CBP agents detained a male subject attempting to enter the United States with an outstanding warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant on Gerardo Martinez was confirmed and he was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
