Maverick County Daily Reports-May 17, 2016

Wanted Person-Deputies arrested twenty-four year old Noe Baltazar on the 800 block of Ceylon Street this morning, where City of Eagle Pass police officers had detained Baltazar on active warrant out of Maverick County. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Hit and Run-Deputies responded to the 300 block of Buena Vista, where a complainant reported a vehicle had rear ended her vehicle and fled the scene. A report was filed.

Burglary of Habitation-A resident on the 2600 block of Rodriguez reported unknown subject(s) had entered his home and took a 19 inch television and weedeater without his consent.

Burglary of Vehicle-Unknown subject(s) gained entry into a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe and took an amplifier and two subwoofers from the complainant's vehicle.

Wanted Person-Deputies patrolling Us Highway 277 North this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Ford SUV. A background check conducted on the occupants of the vehicle revealed an active warrant for one of the subjects, Sergio Salazar Avila, Jr. Mr Avila was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant on the 100 block of Santa Fe Trails told a deputy dispatched to the locale that an unknown male subject entered her property and took two weedeaters without her consent. A report was taken and the complainant does have video footage on the subject.
