Maverick County Daily Reports-April 23, 2016

Hit and Run/Damage to Property-A complainant in La Herradura stated an unknown actor driving a Dodge Journey struck the fence line by her residence and struck a tree. The vehicle left the scene towards an unknown area.

DWI-Deputies patrolling the Seco Mines Sector of Maverick County observed a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup stationary in the middle of the roadway with its driver asleep behind the wheel. The driver, Daniel Martinez Flores Espinoza, was placed under arrest after displaying signs of intoxication. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant stated unknown actors gained entry into her vehicle and attempted to take the radio without her consent. The complainant further stated she was unaware if any other items had been taken at the time of the report.

Wanted Person-Paloma Bernice Gonzalez was placed under arrest at the international Port of Entry #2 after being detained when a background check revealed an active She was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A deputy responded to Wild Oak, where contact was made with County Road and Bridge Dept. staff at the location. Forty-nine year old Carlos Casares was placed under arrest after it was revealed he had been taking parts from a County-owned tractor. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. This case remains under investigation.

Wanted Person-A traffic stop on a 2014 Dodge Dart this afternoon resulted in the arrest of Ivan Heredia after a background check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. Heredia was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A TCIC/NCIC check on a female subject attempting to enter the US via the international Port of Entry #1 revealed an active warrant out of Bexar County. Rose Marie Aguirre was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
