Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the 2900 block of Buena Vista Road this morning after fielding calls of suspicious persons in the area. After patrolling the sector, contact was made with three male subjects and one female subject found in the area. A background check on one of the individuals, twenty-two year old Andres Roberto Sandoval, Jr., revealed an outstanding warrant out of Bexar County. Mr. Sandoval was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Deputies arrested Juan Federico Salazar on public intoxication charges after Mr. Salazar had been detained by Tribal Police near the Casino Corner store on FM 1021. Mr. Salazar was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report his nephew had broken into his pickup truck and took approximately $1,200.00 from the center console.
Wanted Person-Alfredo Ojeda Sandoval was arrested at the United States Border Patrol checkpoint on US Highway 57 after being detained on an outstanding warrant out of Waco, Texas. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant on Sueno Circle reported unknown subject(s) had gained entry to his 2010 Toyota Tacoma without his consent. A search of the vehicle had found that his wallet and ring had gone missing. The complainant was referred to the Criminal Investigation Division for further process.
Public Intoxication-Arturo Alonso Garza was placed under arrest this afternoon after he was found in a highly intoxicated state on Encuentro Street. Mr. Garza was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of a Dangerous Drug-A deputy conducting a traffic stop on a Mercury vehicle this evening found the driver, forty-two year old Alfredo Cantu, displaying a slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Consent was given to search the vehicle and an open beer container as well as prescription pills without the prescription were also found. Mr. Cantu was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
