Public Intoxication/Criminal Mischief-Deputies responded to the 100 block of Ranchitos Road, where a female complainant reported a verbal argument with her boyfriend had escalated when he broke the back window to her vehicle with a rock. Contact was made with the male subject, identified as Daniel Mata, who was found to be in an intoxicated state. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Information Report-Deputies responded to US Highway 277 North near FM1664, where an eighteen-wheeler was involved in a rollover accident. Upon arrival deputies observed the 18-wheeler, which had been carrying a propane load, was on its side. EMS crews were summoned to the location and the driver was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment. The Texas Department of Public Safety was at the scene of the accident and has since taken over investigations.
Public Intoxication-Fifty-four year old Arturo Garza was arrested this afternoon after being found asleep on the roadway. Contact was made with Mr. Garza, who was holding a beer can and displayed signs of intoxication. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Elva Gallegos was arrested at the international Port of Entry after a background check revealed an active warrant for her arrest. She was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident/Hit and Run-A complainant on Encuentro Street reported a vehicle had struck her vehicle and fled the scene. EMS crews were at the location to treat the female for minor injuries.
