Maverick County Daily Reports-February 14, 2016

Burglary of Habitation-A resident in El Indio, Texas reported unknown subject(s) entered his home without consent.

Wanted Person-Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Wildwood in reference to a possible family violence in progress. Upon arrival, the complainant advised officers a male subject, later identified as Hector Teodoro Garza, had left the area. A search of the area was done and Mr. Garza was later found hiding by a canal. A background check was performed where an active warrant out Bexar County was confirmed. Mr. Garza was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on the 200 block of Chuck Wagon Road stated that at an unknown time, unknown actors had entered his home without consent and took a television set.

Hit and Run-Units were dispatched to Fresno Loop after receiving reports of a vehicle striking a telephone pole. Witnesses told deputies a blue Ford Expedition had struck the pole and fled the scene immediately after. The vehicle was later found on the 3200 block of Fresno Loop.
