Maverick County Daily Reports-January 27, 2016

Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 200 block of Sunrise Loop reporting that between the evening of January 26th and the morning of January 27th, unknown subjects entered her Chevrolet vehicle and took several items without her consent.

Located Person-A depty was dispatched to Cleo's Convenience Store at the intersection of North Veteran's Blvd. and Bibb Street, where contact was made with a male juvenile that had been entered into computer systems as a runaway. The juvenile was turned over and was removed from the database.

Recovered Stolen Property-A deputy was notified by a complainant that he had located two stolen tail lights by a residence on Ranchitos Road. After further investigation, the two tail lights were turned over to the Maverick County Sheriff's Department and the case remains under investigation.

Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international Port of Entry #2 after CBP agents detained a male subject with an active warrant out of Cleburne, Texas. The warrant on Gilberto Rodriguez was confirmed and Mr. Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) had entered his vehicle and took his laptop.
