Maverick County Daily Reports-December 27, 2015

Theft-A complainant on the 1900 block of Coyunda reported unknown subject(s) had taken several items without consent.

Damage to Property-A reporting person on US Highway 277 North stated a billboard had caused damages to her establishment.

Public Intoxication-A county unit made its way to Ramos Loop, where a male subject was found knocking on the complainant's door. Contact was made with the subject, who was found to have a slurred speech and some type of alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident/Hit and Run-Deputies responded to Gennter Road, where upon arrival, located a Jeep Cherokee with no occupants that had struck a fence. The vehicle was impounded by a local wrecker service.

Burglary of Habitation-Deputies responded to the 100 block of Las Moras, where upon arrival, noticed broken windows to the front door and residence. Blood stains were found at the scene and neighbors advised deputies that the homeowner was currently out of town. The criminal investigations division was advised of the matter.

Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle-A deputy was dispatched to the 1300 block of Agarita, where a complainant reported 2005 white Jeep Cherokee had been taken from his residence without his consent. It was later revealed that the vehicle had been involved in a hit and run accident by the Siesta Acres area.

Wanted Person-An officer responded to the international Port of Entry #2 after CBP agents detained a male subject with an active warrant. Upon arrival, the deputy confirmed the warrant on Raul Vargas Lambreras out of Bexar County. Mr. Lambreras was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Deputies arrived at the United States Border Patrol south station, where agents had detained thirty year old Raul Villanueva after it was revealed he had an active warrant. Deputies confirmed the warrant out of Hays County and took Villanueva into custody. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
