Maverick County Daily Reports-November 29, 2015

Resisting Arrest/Disorderly Conduct-Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Sosa in reference to an unwanted male subject. Contact was made with the complainant, who stated that Juan Eduardo Carrizales arrived home in an intoxicated state and began acting disorderly, at which point became unwelcome. Mr. Carrizales appeared intoxicated and began showing signs of resistance when officers attempted to handcuff him. Necessary force was then used to subdue Carrizales. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

DWI/Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle/Possession of a Controlled Substance-A deputy patrolling the La Heradura sector attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am this morning. The vehicle initially refused to come to a stop and did not do so for several blocks until pulling into a private residence on Erika Street. Jesus Jose Gonzalez was found to be in an intoxicated state and was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle was also performed where a clear baggy containing a white powdery substance was found. Mr. Gonzalez was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street in reference to a minor motor vehicle accident involving a Eagle Pass Police Department patrol unit. No injuries were reported at the time of the report.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle-Deputies responded to the Six Pack convenience store on US Highway 277 North in reference to a recovered stolen vehicle. Contact was made with the City of Eagle Pass Police Department who had initially made the stolen report. Eagle Pass Police officers arrived at the scene and took over the investigation.

Public Intoxication-A deputy was dispatched to FM 1021 after a vehicle almost struck a United States Border Patrol unit. Units arrived and made contact with Alma Monsivais, who had a slurred speech and some type of alcohol beverage emitting from his person. Ms. Monsivais was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
