Maverick County Daily Reports-October 28, 2015

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-County units were dispatched to FM 2030 in reference to a motor vehicle accident with a horse. Upon arrival at the scene, contact was made with forty-nine year old Beatriz Elizabeth Villa, who stated she was driving her 2004 Chevrolet Silverado on FM 2030 towards El Indio Highway when a horse appeared in the middle of the road.. The Silverado could not avoid the collision, causing damages to the right front quarter panel and a windshield. Ms. Villa refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Dog Bite-A complainant on the 3400 block of Peach Street reported being bitten by a pit bull when she exited her residence to see her family members off. She was taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for treatment and wished to file a report.

Information Report-Deputies responded to a motor Vehicle Accident on FM 1021 near Sam Houston Elementary this morning, after a a 1992 Ford collided into a white ambulance. Both vehicle operators refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant on the 3200 block of Palma Street reported an unknown male subject leaving his property on bicycle. The complainant noticed his father's truck open, and upon review of the surveillance cameras, observed the male subject inside of the vehicle. A report was filed in reference to the matter.

Burglary of Vehicle-A female subject on Vid Circle reported unknown subjects had gained entry into her vehicle without her consent and took the in dash stereo. A similar report was filed approximately thirty minutes later by Body Max fitness.

Family Violence/Assault-A female complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report she had been involved in a physical altercation with her husband and wanted to file a report in reference to the matter.

Family Violence/Assault-Deputies responded to Dub Street, where contact was made with a female complainant who stated she had been involved in a physical altercation with her boyfriend outside the residence. Further investigation led to the arrest of the male subject, identified as Dustin Elizondo. Mr. Elizondo was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.

Burglary of Vehicle-A county unit was dispatched to Eidson Road after a complainant reported unknown subject(s) had gained entry into her two vehicles without her consent.

Deceased Person-County units arrived to the 100 block of Las Hacienditas in regards to a deceased person. Upon arrival, deputies were advised by EMS crews that the known male subject had passed away outside of his residence. Justice of the Peace Madera arrived at the location and pronounced the subject deceased at 11:45 AM.

Wanted Person-A deputy arrived at the international Port of Entry #2 after a male subject attempting to enter the United States was detained. A background check on Guadalupe Castillo revealed an active warrant out of Harris County. The officer confirmed the warrant and Castillo was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
