Maverick County Daily Reports-July 22, 2015


Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the intersection of Rio Grande and Ryan Street this morning, where Eagle Pass Police officers had detained a male individual with an active warrant. Twenty year-old Cristian Laredo had an open warrant for failure to appear charges in Maverick County. Mr. Laredo was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Vehicle-Deputies responded to Wipff Road in reference to an abandoned vehicle inside a the canal this morning. At approximately 8:55 AM, units made their way to the scene and discovered a tan colored SUV almost completely submerged in water. Wrecker services were able to remove the vehicle in question, later described as a 2007 Tan Chevrolet Tahoe with sustained damages to the front right corner and passenger doors. The vehicle was transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's office and impounded. The registered owner of the vehicle, who was unaware that his vehicle was missing or taken without his consent, requested to have the vehicle reported as stolen. This case remains under investigation.












Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle- A complainant on the 700 block of Wildwood told deputies her 2003 blue Cadillac had been taken from her residence by unknown subject(s) without her consent. The vehicle was later located by the 300 block of Wild Turkey.

Burglary of Vehicle-A deputy responded to the 700 block of Wildwood where a male complainant stated unknown actors gained entry into his unlocked vehicle, a white Ford F-250, and took several items without his consent.

Burglary of Building-Deputies arrived at the Self Help Center in Loma Bonita, where unknown actor(s) gained entry into the building. No items were reported as missing or moved from the location.

Theft-A complainant visited the Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) took four tractor trailer water pumps and two doors from a tractor trailer.

Family Violence/Assault-A female complainant on the 1700 block of Eidson Road told deputies she had been involved in a verbal argument with her husband, who in the midst of the argument struck her in the facial area with an open fist.

Wanted Person-Deputies dispatched to a disturbance in progress on Eidson Road arrested a male who was confirmed to have an active warrant this afternoon. While running an identification check on the individuals involved, Sergio Adan Guerra came back with an outstanding warrant for Assault charges in Maverick County. He was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.

Missing Person-a female complainant on Yucca Loop wished to file a missing persons report. She stated her son took her vehicle without letting her know of his whereabouts  and has not heard from him in the past twenty-four hours.

Violation of Protective Order-Deputies responded to Olmos Street after reports of an unwanted male by said location. Upon arrival, deputies identified a male subject at the scene as Christian Barrett. A protective order had previously been issued prohibiting Mr. Barrett from the location. He was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.

Wanted Person-Deputies were requested at the Eagle Pass Police Department after police officers detained a female subject with an outstanding warrant out of Maverick County. April Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
