Maverick County Daily Reports-July 03, 2015

Information Report-Deputies were dispatched to the Chula Vista Subdivision in regards to a suicidal subject early Friday morning. At approximately 2:13 AM, units arrived at the location and observed two male subjects inside the residence. One male exited the home and told deputies he had been able to take a handgun away from his friend. Deputies then entered the residence and were able to secure the male subject. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and the thirty two year-old was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.

Wanted Person-Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a minor traffic violation on the 800 block of Bibb Street. It was then revealed the driver, identified as Roberto Alcala, had an outstanding warrant on theft charges. Mr. Alcala was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant on the 2000 block of Boulder Ridge told deputies that unknown subject(s) took items without consent.

Theft-A complaintant on the 1900 block of Boulder Ridge told deputies that unknown subject(s) had taken items without consent.

Wanted Person-Deputies were dispatched to the international Port of Entry #1after a female was detained for an outstanding warrant. Aida Aracely Riojas, who had an open warrant out of the Maverick County Sheriff's office on homicide charges, was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.

Theft-A female juvenile at the Hopedale Swimming Pool told deputies that she had left her cellular phone in the restroom and that it was gone when she returned.

Disorderly Conduct-Units were dispatched to the 1600 block of Encuentro Street in reference to a family violence call. Upon arrival, it was revealed that both the husband and wife involved had been drinking alcoholic beverages and had gotten physical with one another. Both were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
