Maverick County Daily Reports

June 10, 2015


Structural Fire-Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Molina Loop in reference to a structural fire. Upon arrival, officers observed a warehouse fully engulfed in flames and spoke with the owner, who told deputies the warehouse contained large amounts of lumber wood and barrels of paint and paint thinner, along with all of his power tools and equipment. No injuries were reported.

Structural Fire-Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Molina Loop in reference to a structural fire. Upon arrival, officers observed a warehouse fully engulfed in flames and spoke with the owner, who told deputies the warehouse contained large amounts of lumber wood and barrels of paint and paint thinner, along with all of his power tools and equipment. No injuries were reported.


Public Intoxication- A deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of FM1021 and Florence Street for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the driver, county officer witnessed several open containers and a strong odor of some type of alcohol emitting from the inside of the vehicle. Further investigation led to a male subject being arrested on Public Intoxication charges.

Burglary of a Building-Deputies responded to the 300 block of High Noon after a complainant stated an unknown person entered his home currently under construction and stole several items from the location.

Missing Person/Runaway-A female parent filed a report with deputies stating that her juvenile son left her residence without her consent. The report was taken and the juvenile was entered into the TCIC/NCIC datebase.

Theft-A unit was dispatched to the 2000 block of Boulder Ridge after a female subject told deputies that her neighbor's children entered her property and stole an inflatable swimming pool.

Damage to Property-A complainant stated that 30 feet of chain link fence on his property on the 1700 block of Oaxaca Street was damaged by a tractor trailer moving a mobile home. The driver of the trailer was cited for not having the endorsement to operate a tractor trailer.

Wanted Person-A unit responded to FM 481 when Border Patrol Agents called in reference to a detained male. Upon arrival, it was revealed that the male subject detained had two outstanding warrants from Kerrville, Texas and Uvalde County. The male was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
