The Maverick County Sheriff's Office has remained in close communication with AT&T to resolve existing issues with its telephone services. AT&T has described the issue as a group outage, affecting several hundred customers in the area, and has called on specialized technicians to manage repairs. AT&T estimates repairs will be completed by Saturday July 19th, at 7:00 P.M.
The Maverick County Sheriff's Office once again thanks you for your patience and understanding and reminds the public that 911 emergency service calls continue to function properly.
