Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)- On Saturday May 31 at approximately 3:29 AM, deputies responded to a call on Ruela Street in reference to a rolled over vehicle. Deputies arrived to the location to find a male subject attempting to leave the scene of an accident. The subject was later identified as Issac Aldama, a resident of Eagle Pass, who was being uncooperative with deputies. EMS was summoned to the location to provided medical assistance but Mr. Aldama refused. The subject was highly intoxicated at the time of the accident and was then placed under arrest for Driving while Intoxicated. Mr. Aldama was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
