Maverick County Sheriff's Deputies respond to Structural Fire in Seco Mines

Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Deputies responded to a call in regards to a structural fire in Seco Mines on Wednesday, May 28th at 1:11 P.M. Deputies arrived at 2974 Rodriguez Street and made contact with a resident who stated she had observed smoke coming from the apartment adjacent to hers. Eagle Pass Fire Department arrived at the scene and forcefully entered the apartment and was able to extinguish the fire. The tenant, Cruz Hernandez, was not home at the time. Eagle Pass Fire Marshals determined that the fire was caused by an electrical problem.
