School Bus involved in MVA on Memo Robinson Road

Maverick County Sheriff's Office (PRESS RELEASE)- Sheriff's units were dispatched to Memo Robinson Road Tuesday morning after a Texas Migrant Council school bus was reportedly involved in a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, deputies observed the TMC bus had been struck in the rear by Nissan Maxima. Officers spoke with the drivers, who both concurred, that the bus was traveling north on Memo Robinson Road when it was struck from behind by the Nissan Maxima. The bus received minor scratches while the Maxima suffered damages to the hood of the vehicle. EMS services were summoned to the location to treat the twenty-two students on board but no medical attention was needed. The driver of the Nissan, identified as Juan Perez, also refused medical attention. A citation was issued to Mr. Perez.
